Lishui University started full-time undergraduate nursing education in 2010. In 2014, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to cooperate with Gävle University in Sweden to organize an undergraduate nursing education project. In 2017, it launched nursing education for international students. Nursing is certificated as national and provincial-level first-class undergraduate professional construction point. In 2020, it has passed the nursing professional certification of the Ministry of Education.

There are currently 53 professional teachers in this major, including 28 full-time teachers, 15 foreign teachers and 10 clinical teachers. 39.3% of full time teachers are professors and associate professors; 8 of doctor’s degrees, accounting for 28.6%, 4 PhD candidates; 2 with provincial and municipal titles, and many teachers have won national, provincial and school-level teaching practice rewards.
The nursing major has 5 course group teaching (Basic Nursing, Internal Medicine Nursing, Surgical Nursing, Gynecological and Pediatric Nursing, Community Nursing) and research rooms, 1 nursing experimental teaching center and 6 experimental areas (basic nursing, surgical nursing, internal medicine nursing, community rehabilitation nursing, gynecological and pediatric nursing, and critical care nursing) with a total of 18 laboratories, equipped with more than 1,200 advanced high-intelligence comprehensive simulators and other experimental equipment.
Nursing graduates are equipped with high comprehensive quality, solid professional theoretical knowledge and strong practical ability. The passing rate of practicing nurse qualification examination reached 100%, and the acceptance rate of master’s degree students increased year by year. A survey by a third-party education evaluation agency shows that employers’ satisfaction with our school’s graduates is above 90%.
This major requires students to systematically master the basic theories, basic
knowledge and basic skills of nursing, have basic clinical nursing work ability,
lifelong learning ability and good professional quality, and be able to adapt to
international nursing talents of nursing services in the country of origin or a third country.
Students are required to reach HSK level 4 before starting their graduation
internship at local hospital. Core courses:
